Designer Glasses Are about Style and Substance
Choosing new glasses or sunglasses changes the way you look.Not only do glasses help you to see better, but they can be a fashion statement too.You have to be comfortable in your glasses and confident that you look good too, which explains why so many people are choosing to buy designer glasses and designer sunglasses nowadays.
There is no end to the number of different frames available in a neverending selection of colours, materials and shapes.It can be a bit overwhleming deciding between so many different styles.You should know what sort of image you want to present before choosing new designer glasses. If you mostly wear glasses at work, then you might want to look at a more sober, traditional, classic pair of glasses. If you want to make a statement and go for bright unrestrained glasses there are dozens of recognised designer brands out there, including Prada glasses for example that combine an intrinsic sense of style with the name recognition that is more of a fashion and lifestyle statement. Whichever way you lean, choose designer glasses to suit the shape of your face and not just your outfits or your desired social standing. The same is true when choosing designer sunglasses.
If you’ve got a square face then round or oval style frames will probably suit you best.If your face is wider at the top a smaller style of frame will look best, with low sides and either rounded or square. Avoid styles that are wider at the top as these will accentuate the face shape rather than balance it and look at styles without decorative detail on the temples as this will have the same effect. People with a round face and chin can get away with wider styles.Small rounded styles and any large frames should be avoided as they will only make your face look more round.
If your face is a basic oval shape with a slightly wider forehead, curved jaw and high cheekbones you’re lucky and can take your pick of any style as most will suit you. Long faces with high cheekbones and a deep forehead will suit wide frames and a strong top line.The perfect frames for an oval shaped face are large square shapes, though avoid smaller squares. If your forehead is narrower than your jaw then bolder, more adventrous frames will look good on you, but you should avoid narrower styles.
With designer sunglasses in particular, remember that, aside from making you look good, the primary role of these items is still to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of UV radiation.If possible you should try the frames on to be sure they look and feel good. Never forget that, despite the fact that they have a designer label which is a public statement of your desired public persona, ultimately the only one you have to please be yourself!
