Laughter Yoga: Lifts Up The Spirit And Our Body
Everybody knows that “laughter is the best medicine”. When you say that laughter is the best medicine it has a medical basis. Many people might not know that laughter makes certain chemicals which improves your body. When you feel better your body also feels better.
I just attended a training workshop that offered a brain fitness workshop. I have learned a lot about how the brain does its work and also able to see the deeper influences of mood swings, attitudes and the habits we make. Laughter makes us stay younger everyday in relation to the activites of our brain.
There are 4 important factors which keep our brain young while maturing. The brain continues to grow and we can still stay young at the same time. Even if we’re at the prime of our lives, more neuron connections can still be improved. By making this happen we promote a healthy brain and a healthy body.
1. Practice Mental Fitness – when we don’t use our brains we stunt its growth. You can make your brains young by doing mental gymnastics. Puzzles, games, problem solving activities make your brain mentally fit. You are less prone to neurodegenerative diseases.
2. Proper Diet – proper intake of food is of utmost importance. “You are what you eat” most people say and that can be true at times. When you eat lots of pork, you might be so fat that you will be less mobile.
3. Physical Exercise – you should not do away with physical activity. Exercise regularly and keep your body fit.
4. Lessen your stressful activity by living an active lifestyle and keeping an optimistic point of view. Reducing stress makes you healthier. The brain becomes healthy.
Laughter yoga provides a good healthy lifestyle that’s why it became an “in” thing today. Laughter yoga lifts-up the body and the spirit. Optimism is one of the key elements. You should be genuinely and sincerely happy for the exercise to have its full effects and benefits. Laugh and laugh ’til you drop! Put that together with exercise and what do you get? Laughter yoga!
