Keeping In Style Without Spending Too Much
Looking your best doesn't mean that you have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. You just have to know which ones would enhance your features. The key is to to enhance those things which flatter your look, while pulling attention away from problem areas. White blouses match with anything. From your jeans to your skirts, you would never go wrong with white blouses. The little black dress, on the contrary, can go from formal to casual with the right additions. You may mix jackets and scarves with your dress for formal occasions, or pick up your boots or leggings should you need to go casual.
If you are tired of black, you can always switch to brown - that shall do the trick. Brown is always a good alternative to black. Try pairing a pair of brown boots with skinny jeans and you'll see that even the color is basic, it gives you that natural and rustic look. Quite fashionable, feminine, but at the same time not too overpowering.
You should also own basic accessory pieces. Buying expensive jewelry does not seem to be practical nowadays. You can always have a leather watch, a dress watch, some earrings and you're good to good. Boots, skinny jeans, a white blouse and a pair of pearl earrings can definitely spruce up your everyday look. You would easily look sassy, feminine and classic. Don't forget to smile, as well.
If you do not like putting on too much makeup, or you put on too much makeup but you need to tone it down, consider using tinted moisturizers, BB cream, and/or concealers. These products make your face matte, while equalizing your skin tone. It also regulates oil so you do not look too shiny. Keep in mind as well, to take care of your skin because clear and smooth skin would surely brighten any outfit.
Nowadays, you do not have to spend too much money just to look stylish. Keep your shopping sprees to the most important things, and you would have enough to mix and match to be in style - without shelling out too much money.
