Chinatown boasts its special building designs and neighbourhood, while North Beach is known as the “Little Italy” of the city.
Food choices in these districts are eclectic; You have dim sum and other superb Chinese foods, and a number of superb Italian cuisine, with many top-class restaurants in both areas. Chinatown is also a unique place for shopping, with many high-quality Oriental handicrafts and goods. There are also many interesting monuments, beautiful parks and amazing murals.
Many luxurious hotels are also centred around the famous Union Square and Financial District, such as the JW Marriott, Mandarin Oriental and many more. Union Square is one of the largest shopping districts in the country, with numerous fine stores and galleries, as well as many theatres. There are also countless traditional buildings museum and art spaces nearby these areas.
Nearby the financial district is the popular SoMa (South of Market) district, which also houses many luxurious hotels, like the Four Seasons Hotel, InterContinental Hotel, and others. Located here are the striking Yerba Buena Gardens, the beautiful Charles Looff Carousel, as well as many great museums and entertaining activities.
