Clarity In Diamonds
diamond studs are considered as the toughest and the most popular among gemstones. This precious mineral has different colors and prices as well. This type of stone can scratch other stones including itself; its tough quality and perfected appearance has been said to be its topmost attributes that had made it the most expensive stone, in terms of clarity and weight.
Color variations
Super clear or white: Clarity at its best, this color is said to be the epitome of purity among its kind.
Brown: This is the most common color found in diamonds and they are sometimes called champagne; others refer to them as cognac.
Yellow: Color is formed due to nitrogen’s presence within the nugget and this is second in command to the browns where the word common is concerned. If there is an excessive amount of nitrogen, it produces a deep yellow or canary shade that is rare to find.
Blue: An extremely rare kind, it is grayish in appearance and has been found in different parts of the world to date. The Hope Diamond is one perfect example; this had been regarded to bring bad luck to any of its owners.
Black: The exotic stone is found mostly in Brazil, while two types have emerged in India and South Africa. Others can be manufactured using irradiation to mask the flaws in color, thus making it appear as darker shades of blue or green; but one would see them as black.
Green: It has its origin either from India or Brazil; all throughout, apple green dominates the stone.
Red: This enigmatic stone oftentimes can be mistaken as any other stone by most people. The origin of its hue cannot be deciphered up to now.
Pink, Purple, Violet, and Orange: The types that are linked to the red kinds and were mined at Western Australia, Argyle Mines.
Clarity
Its luminosity has been flawed by embedded minerals and objects within the stone that have been present while they were developing. Shades would vary but the brilliance that shines through the mineral would still be perfectly amazing. The amount of sunlight that goes through it can also bring about refraction of a substance present inside the diamond. That is why it is well-loved by people of all ages and races.
For every 10,000 investment diamond , there would emerge one different-colored stone and it would look rare because it stands out among the others. The flaws that this stone have may cause it to develop into another beautiful one.
Pricing
The variations in clarity may be considered as the top gauge in finding out the quality of the diamond stud earrings and their marketability. The whites could command a higher price compared to the colored ones but the latter can also give it competition as people have different tastes and there would always be some who will opt for them and pricing wouldn’t be that low either.
