Angel wings jewelry is not only beautiful it is unique as well. What other jewelry exemplifies beauty, elegance and love all at one time? There is a reason this type of jewelry is on the rise not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year. I remember as a child seeing angel wing jewelry and thinking it was beautiful. I would see it in catalogs that were sent to the house and look at it for hours.
One birthday I received an angel wing pendant. I treasured that necklace and wore it daily for months, and for a kid, that is a long time. Remarkably, I still have that sentimental piece in my jewelry box. Maybe that is why angel jewelry has always been one of my favorites, one of those childhood nostalgic trips down memory lane that triggers feelings of joy. Looking back, I remember even making drawings and designs of what the perfect angel jewellery would look like.
However, I am not the only one with a desire for angel wing jewelry. Especially at Christmas time it is easy to see it at the malls, television commercials, advertisements in magazines, billboards as well as local craft shows and of course catalogs. There are pendants, earrings, charms, beads, rings all with an angel theme. The most popular metals for angel jewelry are gold, sterling silver, pewter, silver plated, and copper.
I actually decided over the holidays to try my hand at creating some a piece of jewelry. It looked easy enough. I bought some french hook ear wires, and then purchased a sterling silver angel wing with a zircon Swarovski heart charm. Then I simply looped the jump ring on the charm in through the earwire and Taa Daa…I have a gorgeous pair of earrings at a fraction of the cost. Regardless of how or where you get angel wings jewelry, you make it, or are lucky enough to be gifted with some, consider yourself lucky.
